I believe that the Bee Shrimp in singapore is similar to the bumblebee shrimp that we have here. I ended up with 2 survivors of 'bee shrimps' and according to the photographs in the variety page, it looks similar to the bumblebee shrimp with the dark band near the eyes and front body.

oh im not sure when it laid eggs. the shrimp dissappeared from my tank a few weeks ago, and i considered them dead. then i decided to take out my fishes and cut some plants. that's when i found them with eggs.

rainbows would be worst... but they said threadfin rainbow which has very small mouths and doesnt get too big. i'd suggest almost anything about 1-1.5" in size would be ok.

the eggs weren't black, they were darkish brown.

i do feed them spinach and zucchini on occasions. those are the only 2 choices that i have tried. spinach doesn't seem to mold as fast as the zucchini.

how many shrimps is enough to finish off one leaf of spinach before it goes bad?

i have both, moss and riccia in there but i haven't really seen anything, was looking all day. how small are they? i had these shrimps for a few months already. this was the first time, i saw them with eggs but then again, these were hiding most of the time. now that i took out the fishes, they come...

hmm i wasn't clear on that one i guess.
i meant that the shrimps were all over the moldy food.
when it was freshly placed in, they barely touched it.
