I love both Tiger and Cherry because :

(1) Tiger looks nice and funny

Very glad to see that my shrimp friends enjoy the pictures I discovered. I love those pictures too. I didn't know German and Japanese keep pet shrimps. About the fourth picture, let me translate the Chinese words here for your reference : "Real Bee Shrimp - Crystal Shrimp is modified from its g...

Hi Mustafa, Thanks again for the information. In fact, those shrimps were ready in bags (10 shrimps each bag). I think I shouldn't buy shrimps in this kind of packaging again. I do hope the two tiger survivors will reproduce some little tigers. I've tried to understand how to tell their gender as me...

Thanks a lot Mustafa ! Your website is really great. I bought a bag of ten tiger shrimps last month but they died one by one. I was eager to find out what I should do before the whole batch would pass away. We have a 'fish street' here in Hong Kong but none of them have any reference books on shrimp...

Both baby shrimps haven't shown up today. I've tried to see through the Java Moss but couldn't see them :( They swam a lot last night. I do hope they'll appear again soon :)

Now a pair of Cherry and a pair of Tiger are in the same tank. Then I don't need to worry about 'cross-breed'. In fact, my knowledge on shrimps is limited. I've tried to find a book on shrimps but unfortunately there is none here in my country. Fortunately, this website is extremely informative.

Oh, if only I could have read Mustafa's mail a day earlier. I bought four tiger shrimps this afternoon and one of them got red stripes. It's the only red one in the tank where there were about a hundred tigers. I thought I got something extraordinary :( And I thought one of its parents was Cherry an...

Dear Shrimp Friends, The baby shrimp didn't show up in the past two days. I thought it was dead. Wow, I saw it again a few minutes ago !! Hurrah !! This time it's a bit bigger, but much more visible now. Don't know if it's the only one baby. Aha, I forgot to mention that the eggs were black initiall...

Oh, I see. Does any shrimp friends here know if baby shrimps can swim right after they're born or they're still eggs which take time to hatch outside the mother ? Perhaps this baby shrimp is gone. However, this time I have got a piece of important information - shrimps reproduce by internal fertiliz...

I'm new here and I'm green in shrimp keeping. Here in Hong Kong a Cherry cost between US$3 and US$5.
