I moved 8 shrimps outside. 3 of them died during the summer. The only hatch i got from the outdoor shrimps, was from the female shown above. Indoors they were breeding reguraly. The summer 2006 I keept CRS outside on my balcony in 65 liter plastic tubs. I had a small group for a short while.
They seem pretty aggressive and need a lot of hiding places.
They ate anything i put in the tank. Flakefood, frozen bloodworms, shrimp sticks and so on.

A week ago I heard the exact same story from a danish aquarist.
She had a tank where all the shrimp began to die, after she added a Microsorum pteropus 'Windeløv' on driftwood.
