thanks guys, oh by the way the sponge filter took up too much room and looked stupid in my 5G, so i put in my spare duetto mini submersible filter, its nice and cleans better.

Actually i already have clams coming the guy selling them lives in texas, its too late well they might die on the way but i am assuming its hotter in texas so he will include an ice pack, if anything i'll keep them with my axolotls in cooler temperatures. So no biggie i guess

Hmm they are supposed to be shrimp safe? they are filter feeders, i heard people raising shrimp babies and fish fry with this bad boy and he never hurt anything

thanks for the advice i am getting plants soon hopefully my shrimp get here tomorrow. If my plants dont i'll temp house them for 2 days or so they should be here by monday for sure.

I heard godlen clams were very hardy and take extreme temperatures? hmm unless the aquabid ad was incorrect.

basically i want a snail to maybe clean up after the shrimp or something, in case i over feed etc. i do have an air sponge filter, by the way my air sponge filter tube doesnt fit all the way in the water a little is outside does that affect it from runnign smoothly, i know nothing about these things...

Well these snails seem to be growing up to a 1" which is good small snail = less poop
