As an aside, my buddy keeps cherry reds in his 100 gallon display tank with discus and they breed like mad in there. His pH in there is a constant 6.7 (held there by his Milwaukee pH controller hooked up to co2 unit). Picture of the tank that they're in. http://i.pbase.com/o2/35/597035/1/52555213.DS...

Nikon D70 with micro Nikkor 105mm f/2.8D lens. One set of flash (SB-800) set over the tank and either triggered by the onboard flash or via the flash cable.

Usually shot in aperture priority at around f/11-f/16. Shutter speed is usually at 1/60 as dictated by the flash.

Thanks for the replies, guys. Yeah, that looks like remnants of some blue on that one there. I'll try snapping some pictures of them once they've settled in. They were a bit more brownish coming from the tank that they were in, but that might have to do with the limited amount of lighting that was o...

New here with an ID question

Hi all. New here and was wondering if anyone can ID these guys for me. They're approximately 1/2" - 3/4" long with red eyes. http://i.pbase.com/o4/35/597035/1/53504252.DSC_9751.jpg http://i.pbase.com/o4/35/597035/1/53504253.DSC_9759.jpg http://i.pbase.com/o4/35/597035/1/53504254.DSC_9760.j...
