I havent had anything like that happen with my Malawa shrimp. Thus far everyone's eggs have been black....
Im curious though, when you witnessed the unusual colored eggs, were all the eggs the shrimp was carrying this color or just a handful?

yeah ...I was just hoping that there was something out there that preferred gammarus....or rather was better at getting gammarus over baby shrimp...I dont want either populations wiped out...looking to increase diversity

Thanks for the response Mustafa, as always your experience and expertise is valuable. Theres a lot of organic material in the setup I have right now....so I imagine they are going to become an issue with the shrimp. *Grumbles* Anyone have any ideas of an organism I can add to the tank that would fee...

No info on them anywhere, but I have one that also came with what's currently called "cardinal shrimp" (unfortunately, the cardinals were in bad shape and died off one by one within a few days). It had eggs, which hatched, and I have been spotting a few young for about 3-4 days now. Wait ...
