If you do try to use the grape leaves, as with all types of leaves, make sure they are dried (brown and crunchy) before soaking them and adding them to the tank. Let us know how it works out for you.

Yes I am still here The blue shrimp I have are the pearl blue shrimp (Neocaridina cf. zhangjiajiensis var. blue) not the dark blue/black shrimp. They do breed true but are light blue in color.

Thanks for the updates, it sound like you are having more positive than not results :D You are right about some of use being more busy this summer, someone has to pick up the slack when others go on vacation :roll: I am still doing my best to care for my little shrimp especially with the summer heat...

Whatever you decide to do, a new tank or a temperary tank, be sure to use the water you are currently housing the shrimp in! This has worked well for me whenever I have moved my shrimp or started a new tank for them. I would also keep some or all of the plants/substrate with the shrimp as they still...
