Very nice tank! As I have said before I am a big fan of spheres. Can't wait for the water to clear. Keep the pictures coming.

Re: New SuperShrimp Fan!

I would wait the two days. Don't see how moving them to another container wouldn't cause more stress.

Re: New Tank Advice

Since you have shrimp in your tank already then adding snails now is fine. The black cylinders looks like poop.

Edwin your are asking two questions. 8 liters say up to 500 shrimp of various ages. 200 at least. Given time. Breeding not sure of the limit. Food and water quality would be a limiting factor. I have a 4 liter tank with about 100 shrimp. Started with 25. They are rarely fed. 4-6 times a year. Breedi...

Nice layout. A comment. The rock with the hole is in the lower left. Hard to make out the hole. I am a fan of that rock an especially the hole. If it was rotated 180 degrees counterclockwise the hole would be more prominent. Just a thought. Easy to make changes before the shrimp arrives.

Glad to hear of your success. Especially happy you gave up the thought of feeding your shrimp to the puffer fish. Send us photos.

Ace if you are able to obtain samples of the algae and they thrive in your tanks I hope you could share. From what I recall they are fast growing.

Re: Ecosphere Empathy

I believe to err on the side of caution . Rushing may cause a problem. If there is not an emergency then wait a few weeks. Remember while our shrimp are very tolerant of adverse conditions they are still shrimp. And shrimp are sensitive to change. My two cents.

Re: New tank here as well. Suggestions are welcomed :)

Having one nerite and such a pretty one I would leave it. Once most of the visible food is gone they will eat less and poop less. The nerite is second to none in our little tanks for keeping the glass clean. I have no longer needed to clean the glass since I had a nerite. Ultimately the less you fee...
