Re: Acclimating freshwater snails
Thanks MrsT. I really appreciate your nerite suggestion. I would not have known about them had it not been for your responses in this topic. Are you saying your shrimp are eating the nerite eggs? That would be interesting. You are welcome mike.d, I dare not suggest you purchase more than 1 but sinc...

Re: Acclimating freshwater snails
So glad things are working out for you mike.d. Oh I have an extra tank too, im thinking the same that if they clean too much of it, I will throw them in another tank  . I bought another female for my nerite. She is decorating her eggs all over. Funny though, some of the eggs are gone, as if...

Re: DEAD snail?
Hi, it’s already been 4 or 5 days, the snail doesn’t smell and the operculum is tight shut (the other time it was a little bit opened). Unfortunately it still hasn’t moved, I hope it will  Is it still the same position when you threw it in? High possible you bought a dead snail ? If it's latch...

Learning to swim. It fell down after certain distance , I guess it's the water depth and bigger tank, they will take time handle compare to a small jar.
But they never give up.

Re: Simply try out another tank
Here is one larvae I believe just molted and morph into a tiny adult body. Sorry it wasn't clear, but you can see how it stretches its tail pointing upwards, it has not really got use to it's swimmeret yet.

Re: Simply try out another tank
I'm going to leave my previous post which the end of 2nd page over there shows a comparison bigger shrimplet and larvae. https://www.petshrimp.com/discussions/viewtopic.php?f=16&t=6177&start=15 I will keep update this thread onwards but not on monitoring their age. Because of my miscalculati...

Re: My opae berried, she dropped? Or....what's this?
Difficult to take a clear shot because the bigger shrimplet
just won't stay still. I'm on flash only the larvae attracted to flash but shrimplet avoid it. The corner glass view was blocked by silicon, I only get to take it from this angle.
This is the size comparison between them.

Re: My opae berried, she dropped? Or....what's this?
 I must've miscalculated the berried time. I thought I would see some larvae maybe in another 1 week time. Look what I found today? 2 of them hiding far end at the corner because that was the end that receive bright sunlight in the morning. :smt005 They are not floating which mean they have b...
