I agree, very nice pics! Now, on to the 1,000,001 questions about TLC&F of these guys. What about the care and feeding of these guys? How about attitude? Most Macrobranchium tend to be scavengers with a penchant to make sushi/sashimi out of any fish or invert they can lay claw to. Are these nap...

The shrimp will be fine with that PH either way. N. denticulata sinensis have a wide range when it comes to PH.

While there are shrimp diseases out there, which could be introduced to a tank with wild-caught, imported shirmp, most of the time it's adverse water parameters that kill off shrimp. Two of the most common killers are too much food (which deteriorates the water) and disturbance of the biological fil...

Thanks Jackie. *Any* pictures are fine. I don't expect professional quality pictures anyway, just pictures where I can recognize the shrimp and some of its coloration. :)

Why aren't there any cool algae-eating shrimp that are indigenous to the U.S.? Seems like all we have are those creepy-looking fairy shrimp or ghost/glass shrimp. What a bummer. -Naomi Hi Naomi, That's a really good question. The US is, however, THE hotspot of crayfish diversity in the world with s...

Nice pics. :) They should be as easy to breed as the Red Cherries. I'll get some of those shrimp later this year when I am in Germany. Since they are a German breed, you can't get them in the US. :(
