Okay...Thanks for all the posts! By the way, could I keep the shrimps over coral sand as a substrace? If not, I'll just take it out but it would be more comvenient. Also, some amazing news. On of my shrimp crawled out of the breeder net into the fry tank! I thought he was a gonner but he's doing FIN...

Hey, those look like the freshwater shrimp here in Korea! They are extremely close relatives of the cherry shrimp and breed in the same way. I bred them once; it was easy :-D And I didn't do anything special; the woman probably thought they were amanos and tried to make a good enviroinment for them ...

Okay, since I have almost finished organizing my tanks, it won't be long before the shrimp move in. By the way, could a clump of java moss tied to a piece of real or fake driftwood do well in the tank? By brother says that they grow best with lots of light and C02 injection. I have a single 20V bulb...

Well, just for experimenting, I bought some of the original cherry shrimps(neocardinia dentaculata) Freshly caught. They seem to do fine, unfortunantly one died when I put him in the cichlid fry tank for experimenting. :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( Sorry. I'll put in the shrimps next ...

Gee, Neonshrimp, I didn't think much about it so I guess thats my only two cents :) And Mustafa, it's really nice to talk to you...I guess this site is different from Cichlid-Forum :-D I'll never do that again. Thanks for politely pointing that out...Some people are really mean about other people's ...

Yeah, Neonshrimp, I'll try to overfiltrate my cherry tank. By brother also is bitten by the shrimp bug and he wants to keep CRS. Right now hes busy posting on the Korean shrimp forum(he doesn't do much English) The CRS are very delicate and require lots of filtration, right? How much is good enough ...

Okay, thanks for all the information! So a piece of driftwood with Java fern and Java moss would be okay in my tank :D And maybe if I had a 30 gallon tank, I could keep all three species together. Maybe like this; 12 cherry shrimp 4 bamboo shrimp 1 vampire shrimp I'll keep my hopes up, maybe I can g...

Can I keep them in a tank with a high water flow? Cherry shrimp and other algae eating shrimp do not like high flow, but you can provide an area of high flow as long as there are low flow areas where the shrimp can find refuge. can I keep them with bamboo shrimp? Yes you can, as bamboo shrimp are h...
