What kind of substraight are you using?
If it's a light colour or white that could be a reason as to why the shrimp are pail.

Not realy, I have a bunch are they eat pelets and anything before they eat the algea. I think of them like corries.

Wat is there larval stage like?

Those look like my rainbow shrimp (indian)... or at least I think they are.
I have had mine since late winter and no babies yet.
