A lot of the info these guys have seems off base and their shipping warning should be dubious enough to scare most sensible people away. 4. THE MORTALITY OF SHIPPING SHRIMP AND SEXING SHRIMP! All too often customers will order a small sampling of assorted shrimp, or want an even mix of males/females...

They must be cooked for 5 minutes to be soft before the shrimp will eat it. Was your's cooked?
Yup, I cooked them to death, should have been a melt in their mouth feast. Mmmmm.... Dandylions.

They are a really fun shrimp to keep and very smart. Don't keep them with fish if you want to get babies. There are several threads here on those of us that have reared them. Give it a shot! Hehe, I've been following your progress and I'm not sure if I'm up to that yet, I do have some of my Cherrie...

From the great white north(Canada) I bring you Ghosties! Picked these up at petsmart for .89$ each and they were labeled as Ghost Shrimp. Edit - Just thought I'd mention that they're thriving in a freshwater tank ;-) Ecir http://img132.imageshack.us/img132/9020/00038434go.th.jpg http://img99.imagesh...

Both shrimp and snails (Brigs and Cana) go crazy over it. Other common weeds they like are dock, plantain, and lambsquarter. They ca...

Watching them moult

I'm sure many of you have been in the hobby long enough to see this yourselves but yesterday I saw that one of my Ghost shrimp had moulted. I started looking around to see if I could find him and I managed to find a different one AS he was moulting. I was just wondering how many of you have actually...

What I was wondering is if a power head in such a small tank would bother the cherries(too much water movement) and also if it might be too small a tank to be sticking a Wood int...
