Macrobrachium sp. with eggs and shrimplets - help on ID

Hi there shrimplovers I need some help to ID these new shrimps. I bought 5 of them a week ago. They were sold as "Algae Shrimp". But I'm pretty sure that they are not. My own bet is that they are Macrobrachium lanchesteri. The fish store kept them in a tank with nothing but gravel. Some of...

I still have 5-6 bumblebees left, 3 males and 2-3 females, and all of them looks healthy. It's just between autumn and winther here in Denmark, and t...

An update. I noticed the first of the egg-carrying females without eggs more than a week ago, but haven't been able to find any shrimplets. Besides the Red Claws the tank contains a breeding group of Red Cherrys and 1.1 Trichopsis pumila. The Gouramis has been looking very happy and wellfed for the ...

Recently all the smallest shrimplets dissapeared during a couple of weeks in my RCS breeding tank. I discovered this little 1 inch long larvae two weeks before it transformed into a dragonfly. http://www.aquabo.dk/img/aqua43-2/insektlarve_06250003.jpg http://www.aquabo.dk/junk/07080002_guldsmed.jpg

I don't know any Scandinavian shrimp forums.
I hang out at http://www.akvariesiden.dk. It's a general aquaristic site - not just shrimps.

She has dropped most of the eggs overnight.
This morning the water temperature was 26,9 degrees Celcius. It has probably been warmer last night.
She is only carrying three eggs now.
