You could also use an egg tumbler that people use for African cichlids. Vera has done this a few times.

I really depends on how you measure them most honest breeders state measurement based soley on body length. While other factor in the arms & claws into the measurements.

I know from first hand experience P. alleni can grow 5-6" in body length.

Here are some pics of Veras Blue Dragons. They get the same size as regular P. alleni. http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a224/CanadianCray/Crayfish/VerasDragon1.jpg http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a224/CanadianCray/Crayfish/VerasDragon2.jpg http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a224/CanadianCray/Crayf...

I would vote no. All immunis have a diamond patter down the back of their tails. Thats why they are also called diamond back crayfish.

The one with the white belly looksl like its about to molt.

Many species of Cambarellus have been found to hybridize in the wild. I have no idea if those particular species could interbreed. Possibly Cambarellus Shufeldtii or Cambararellus patzcuarensis but there is only one way to find out.

The male is always the crayfish thats holding the others claws as they are always the ones that initiate the mating. Boy, that sounds familiar.... :( I guess that would explain my 1 clawed females. He must get carried away. Doesn't it though!!!! Yup thats why they have one claw. Don't ...
