If you do try to use the grape leaves, as with all types of leaves, make sure they are dried (brown and crunchy) before soaking them and adding them to the tank. Let us know how it works out for you.

Yes I am still here The blue shrimp I have are the pearl blue shrimp (Neocaridina cf. zhangjiajiensis var. blue) not the dark blue/black shrimp. They do breed true but are light blue in color.

Whatever you decide to do, a new tank or a temperary tank, be sure to use the water you are currently housing the shrimp in!
