If I remember right something similar happened with T-Rex.
Some else had found and named a bone a few year before...
Thankfully they did not change the T-Rex to the other name.

It was bad enough with the change from Brontosaur to Apatosaur. :?

Anyway back to shrimp :-D

My camera wont give clear shots of something that small :( It is strange and cherries were holding eggs in that tank under the same conditions and the bumble bee shrimp droped her eggs there (I have more then six babies that I can see) Other then the pH beeing over 7.2 I can't tell you much, sorry. ...

Thanks for all the replies! Just an update...the ramshorn snails found the eggs and and ate them all! I have decided to remove most of my snails (have a lot!)...I want to get a Dojo Loach (Weather Loach), so I will keep them in a different tank to feed to him/her. I hope my next posted question her...

Bumble Bee shrimp

Well after selling a female bumble that I though had droped her eggs because of my pH beeing to high.... I see to babies (2). pH is 7.2+ I bought the female as she was berries from the LSF. pH in the water is the same that I have. It was more of a "let's see what happends" thing I'm shocke...

So over 2.5 months later and all 11 are still alive and well.

I see that most of the females are saddled but no eggs as of yet...

These guys are "amano" size now, and have been for most of there time here, so how long before I get eggs?

I have half my population of cherries in a 18 Gal Rubber made Toad and my Ranbows in another of the same size.

The cherries are still breeding like normal.
