Algae growing on coral

Post by Kellyb »

Hello. I am new to this forum. I ordered super shrimp, snails and moss ball about 8 months ago. They were doing great (many with eggs and many babies hatched). However, this month, I noticed some green/black algae growing on the coral. It seems to be spreading. I cut down the time the light is on (on the timer). Is there anything else I can do? Please help!
Thanks
Kelly

Thanks. The shrimp seem to be eating it so I guess I won't worry about it for now!
