I never had a problem with this type of hair-like algae before moving the shrimps into a larger tank.
Same rocks from older tank and salinity kept around 1.010.
The only thing I added was a brighter LED overhead lamp, and a month later, the moss started to appear.
I noticed the shrimps don't like to sit on top or even go near the affected rocks.
Is there a way for me to safely remove the moss? Should I toss them out, clean the tank/change water, and get new rocks?
I'll post pics of the moss when I get home.
