Transferring shrimp to new tank

Post by annahay01 »

I have just gotten a new 5 gallon tank for my supershrimp. As of now they’re in a one gallon. The 5 gallon is currently cycling and I test for ammonia regularly. When the tank is ready for the shrimp what is the best way to move the shrimp to the new tank? Thanks :D

A shrimp net worked well for me. I bought one on Amazon. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0049 ... UTF8&psc=1

You don't need to. Actually, I don't recommend it. No matter what the ammonia test kit shows, once you have algae growing in your tank you're ready to go.
