recently i bought 4 shrimp in a fish shop that were simply labeled as algae shrimp, i had thought they were amano shrimp (caridina japonica) but when ever i got them home i could see quite a big size difference compared to the 2 amano shrimp i already had. i had 1 male & 1 female amano shrimp & all these new ones are at least 1cm longer than the female amano, there is also a blueish tint to the body, but has very similar markings to the amano shrimp.
i had done some research & found that there disgription kinda matched that of the wild cherry shrimp but double there size.
once i figger out how to post pictures i will put one up.
