Question on berried females

Question on berried females

hi im new to the world of shrimps and i've search all over for this question around the forums but no luck. i just recently recieved some pregnant females. their eggs were bluish/greenish colors. my previous pregnant females have yellow eggs and im just wondering whats with the color?

thanks for looking it up. i looked into the link but it didnt help, they started talking about the eggs, it was going great then they went off topic...but yeah still didnt get an answer =/ thanks though shrimper bob
anyone else has any other ideas?

There is some evidence that the egg color is meaningless. Others have reported that this can be caused by crossing with wild stock. I have observed other colors than yellow when I got an accidental contamination with browns. The eggs were green.

I think food is responsible for egg color. Happens to other shrimp and crayfish, too.
