Malaya shrimp NO3 tolerance

Hallo all,
do you know about tolerance to NO3 of Malaya shrimp and it's larvas?
And also how sensitive Babaulties are?
I want try them, but my tap water has 40mg/l and I have a bit more in tanks.
will they handle it?

No shrimp will be happy at those levels. I would get a reverse osmosis unit if I were you to get the nitrate out of the water.
