Meet Stumpie, the toughest momma shrimp in my tanks!

Post by infopimp »

This is "Stumpie" - she lost four of her legs during a tank transfer... she's berried and just a trooper and keeps running around and eating. She is now our favorite CRS... we root for the underdogs around here!

You have to admit that shrimps' regeneration capabilities ranks up there as one of the most amazing things in nature.

I think I can see that her missing legs are starting to grow out - is that how it happens, or is there a dramatic re-apperance of legs after molting? Would love to hear from those with more experience.
