Supershrimp go to college

Finish setting up the tank, now it's time to wait. I stumbled across this one looking at ecospheres thinking they would be a wonderful solution to my sister problem. She wants to keep an aquarium in her dorm room at college but has trouble with water and bringing them home over break. The only thing that she's been able to keep successfully is guppies but she doesn't like them. She's trying keep in beta fish but they normally don't make it the whole year. So the idea is to start a tank of supershrimp here at home over the summer. In a smaller tank send some up with her to school. As she will be able to leave these guys pretty much unattended for a couple weeks.

My one comment would be to keep the tank small. Say one half gallon to a gallon. Much easier to move.
