Bubbles and Cloudiness in New tank
I set up my tank about 2-3 days ago and I have tons of air bubbles and it's not super cloudy but there is definitely still cloudiness. Does it usual take a week or so? Or is there a method of fixing that? I have a filter okay don't use it because of what everyone suggests. I have lava rock so I'm guessing that contributes a lot to the air bubbles.

There's allot more air bubbles that you can't see in the picture btw
Re: Bubbles and Cloudiness in New tank
Its normal, the bubbles will disperse over time, especially once you have animals moving around in the tank. Basically when you first fill a tank there is pretty inevitably some air trapped in the substrate and decorations that over time gets released as bubbles.

OK cool. Thanks for the advice. I'm going to wait a week and then buy the macro algae and the snails. How many snails is recommended per gallon?
Re: Bubbles and Cloudiness in New tank
I'd start with just the 10 pack Mustafa sells, they'll reproduce over time to reach whatever number the tank can support.
