It looks as if there are shrimp in that tank with your Cajun Crays....what type are they?....

I seperated my shrimp and Cajuns (just in case the crays harrassed the shrimp at all and when I get larger populations of both I hoped to mix them in another tank)....Im still waiting and hoping that both my Cajuns and Shrimp will start carrying eggs soon....

About what size is that Cajun Cray....because if that shrimp in the background is a juevenile your Cajuns look to be just a little bigger than mine and perhaps I can start looking forward to them carrying eggs....could you estimate the size of that Cajun for me cause its hard to tell the scale in that picture...

Hi Terran

The Cajun Is about 1 inch , Body only.

I have Red Cherry Shrimp in with them. The only time the Shrimp are bothered by the Crayfish, is when they go after the same piece of food.

Other than that , they get get along.

I have been interested in dwarf crays and since they get along with shrimp, I think that makes it even better. Thanks for sharing the info.

Nice pictures, John! :) I'm glad to see that your little crays have grown up and started breeding! The more the merrier! :smt038

John,

What are your tank parameters, gh, kh, ph and temp?
The cray looks very nice. I am having problems with mine surviving.
My tank is well cycled with a ph of 7, gh 5dkh, kh 6dkh.

Cheers,
Pedro
