Rock shrimp ?

Post by shrimpy1234 »

My mum went down to our local fish shop today and asked if they had any shrimp in and she rang me telling me that they had rock shrimp.
She also said that they were filter feeding shrimp but the staff didnt know any other names for the shrimp.
I would buy one but i dont know what they are because after searching through the spieces section i found nothing on these so called 'rock shrimp' so can anyone help by telling me if they have heard of these and if they have another name eg bamboo shrimp, thanks
If no one can help then i will go down to the shop with my mum at the weekend to get a look at them.

What TKD said. You'll find more info if you use the Latin: Atyopsis moluccensis.
