Is there any type of crayfish that can live in an unheated pond that wont kill goldfish that is about 6 inches long.
P.S this may sound stupid but I have never kept a crayfish in my life!

A dwarf species is more likely to leave fish alone. I'm not as familiar with dwarf crays as I am with non dwarf species, so I can't say for sure.

It seems to me you're going to be trying to walk a fine line. If the crays are too small as compared to the goldfish, then the crays become goldfish food. If the crays are too large compared to the goldfish, then the goldfish become cray food. (At least potentially...depends upon how large the pond is and how many crays, and goldfish, you are talking about.)

I don't know enough about the larger crays to make any specific recommendations, unfortunately.
