Green Shrimp living w/ Cherries

I picked up some of the green shrimp today at one of my LFSs and I'm wondering if they would cross breed w/ cherry shrimp if I put them in the same tank. Don't worry...cross breeding is not my intention. I'd like to avoid this of course.

Thanks.

There is no known case of both species crossbreeding. It should be safe...and don't worry if you see some of your "green shrimp" turn red, they change colors quite often and those are not hybrids at all.

Well, the hardest part is actually finding males. Imported animals are often selected for color and the more colorful ones are the females. The males are pale and some are even colorless. The rest is all about keeping them well fed and happy. :)

Thanks for the reply Mustafa. Two of the shrimp that I got are carrying eggs so if I don't have males now, hopefully I will in a couple weeks :)
