Looking for local hobbyists

I've finally met someone else with pet shrimp, but they're freshwater cherries, not opae. Are there any local groups in Southern Nevada (I'm in Henderson)? Or is online the only way to meet other super shrimp enthusiasts?

Its my understanding these are still pretty niche as far as shrimp keeping goes, at least regarding those who keep them properly (i.e. not in eco spheres), Maybe you could convince this person you met to try them out? If nothing else they should be able to appreciate these shrimp.

I live in Texas by the way so can't help you there.
