Damn! That’s crazy! How long have you had your tank for it to reach this point? I have mine for 2 years now and I think I’m at around 60 from the original 21.

This specific tank is around 4 years. It's a 6 gallon. If I were to guess it's producing around 100 new opae a month. The numbers floating around never changes and I see new babies all the time. So as they mature the new ones replace those. Just a guess. At the same time I have tanks that produce here and there and not as consistent. I have a quart jar that started with around 15 and now numbers over 50. That one sits near a window. I don't touch it only open it from time to time for air/gas exchange.

Wow! That's a totally thriving tank. Can you give more details about how you maintain the tank (feeding, light, etc). Along with the multiplying Opae, the tank looks very green / lush.
