are they hiding?
I just got my 10 shrimp 3 days ago. They are in a 1 gallon tank sitting by a window. First day they were translucent and swimming all around. Yesterday and today I can only see 4, they have turned orange. Purchased everything from petshrimp. i also have snails. Could others have died, or do you think they are hiding? Are they getting too much light? water tests fine.

They are most likely hiding. You only see at most half of your shrimp at any given time anyway unless you have literally no decoration/hiding spots in your tank. Can you post of a picture of your tank?
