Ghost shrimp babies!

I tossed a few ghost shrimp carrying eggs into a spare tank about a week ago, and this morning I was rewarded with the sight of the babies at about 3mm long! This is the first time I've seen them spawn. I've had plenty of egg carriers but they always got eaten as soon as they hatched.
How long should it take before the babies get old enough to reproduce? I normally buy them in bulk from a wholesaler in NJ to feed to my eel, and was thinking about trying to cultivate them as feeders for myself as well as other local hobbyists.
