The blue is all over the board. It's range is wide. Your first picture is the most intense I have achieved so far. That is the color I am working towards. The other blue I am working on is the ice blue. If one of those comes out I will try to post a picture. I will go down tonight and see what I can...

I believe it is 8 spiders in a lifetime. Heard that along time ago. And back to the subject it looks like a dragonfly larva to me.

I did some searches myself and did not come up with any useful info. I could also use a 20 tall and keep the depth 10 inches. I couldn't imagine them digging too deep. They are only around 2 inches. Well I will set the tank up after the catfish convention this year. I am still getting ready for that...

Do you think there would be a great amount of water in their dugouts? Or would they be dry. I have 2 males and 4 females. I can take a pair and set up a 20 long tank. Fill it with 5 inches of clay and sand and let it drop naturally as water evaporates. And see what happens. Anybody have any other ad...

Sorry I did not now I did that. I will make sure they do not touch again. You did get the crays right. They are Hinei. And I did read that too about needing a dry period. I figure I would try straight water and see what happens. They lock up constanly. But no eggs. Maybe another approach is needed. ...

Mine breed great at a ph of 7.6. The bigger the tank the more cherrys I get. You can probably set up 2 tanks to try them out. 1 at your regular ph and one softened down with oak leaves or peat moss. See which setup works best. Good luck with them.

Crayfish Lovin'

Another dwarf cray that I am working with. So far no babies or eggs just crayfish Lovin'. I will post the name of them later. Can anyone tell what they are. A correct answer will put you at the head of the crayfish class. http://members.aol.com/fishworlderie/breed1.jpg http://members.aol.com/fishwor...

Mustafa the picture does not fully capture his color. He is actually a bit more blue than picture shows. Not an electric blue but a dark steely blue. He is a male from an earlier group. I no longer use him towards my blue line. Here are a couple more pics. Another one of my blues and 1 new baby. If ...

I have some babies now that must of dropped this week. I tried to take pictures but all I got was blurry babies. They do not really show any color when they are this small. They will have to grow a bit before I know what I have. Here is a pic of one of my males. He is a different blue. http://member...
