I saw a little piece of moldy food in there so I reached in and grabbed it. I scraped some wet, moldy food off the lid of my 10 gallon tank and dropped it in for the shrimp. They loved it, seemed much more eager to eat it than the fresh flakes and/or pellets. YUMMY! 8) Shrimp sure do like being nas...

thanks yuccapatrol, I will go large. I am bad about cleaning the media in the winter cos I have to go outside *brrr* to use the hose to clean filter material. NEVER use a hose to clean your filter. Drain your water changes into a 5 gallon bucket and squeeze out your filters in that. Hoses will kill...

But I suppose, that you shouldn't mind paying a bit extra for something you know is safe for your shrimp and won't kill your entire shrimp colony :o :shock: Better safe than sorry I say ;)
