Palaemonetes antennarius is distributed along the mediterranian coast. A demersal species as far as i know, so hope not. But closest yet, and may be. That might be good to start a new tank, but water from a turtle tank is not clean enough for shrimp. Be sure to use conditioned tap water for water changes.
