DON'T CROSS !!! That's my advice.. You will end up with grey/ brownish shrimp with week genes.. A friend of mine did this and the red or the white did never come back. The colors kept getting worse and she ended up with colorless shrimp who often became sick and died... What are you going to do when...

I think it's a lot of crayfish for such tank.... The CPO's do fight a lot... specially the males...

I had three couples in a 50 liter tank. suddenly 1 couple has been attacked and died...

But succes with the breeding.. I have baby CPO's at this moment.. 1 day old!

Here in The Netherlands there is a shrimp we call red tail shrimp, but that's not even close to this...

To bad that some people get the wrong information about their shrimps.. I know that Amano's don't breed in fresh water.. I have done a couple of breeding tests with Amano's in Salt/brakkish water and succesfully bred them... Yesterdag a new group of Amano shrimplets has been moved from salt to fresh...
