Yeap! You better have it if you are in Asia unless you turn on AC 24/7. If you are in the U.S., some area you need to have it too.

You can use 80% RO. ADA Aqua Soil is perfect for CRSs, but please remember cycle your new setup tank couple weeks. The initial pH with ADA Aqua Soil will drop to 5.5 to 5.8. CRSs will not survive in that condition. CRSs prefer acidic and soft water. 25~28 degree C will not be a long term ...

Thanks! There were no adult survivors from 1st batch. Those babies are from my 2nd batch.

First clutch should hatch couple days ago. Finally, I saw one in my tank yesterday!!! I am still very excited now.

My tanks are all medium soft RO water, which worries me a little, because since this shrimp is african, I imagine it might be acustomed to hard water.
Anyone know if they require hard water and if so, if they would do okay in medium soft? Some fish and shrimp are more sensitive than others ...
