Some addition to the list - frozen artemia (brine shrimp) - at least my cherries like it.

It is Pellia in very bad condition at least a friend of mine gave me it as Pellia In general I'm not sure if there is a difference between Pellia (Monosolenium tenerum) and Süßwassertang ... they look too similar at pictures in the net

I have experience with other vegetables too - cucumber and red peppers (not hot). I have used them to feed my plecos and saw that RCS likes them too :-)

I think that red peppers are good for coloring to , at least the result with plecos was good.

Why I cook them ? For 2 reasons:
- to soft them ...

I have about 20 RCSs in this tank and they eat about 5 quad centimeters spinach for 1-2 hours maybe ... it is hard to say :-)

I just take 2-3 young spinach leafs and boil them in microwave for few minutes.

I guess that if the spinach leafs are not eaten fast it is not a problem. Usual I give ...

Spinach is boiled for few minutes - that is all.

I use CO2 and fertilizer in my community tank and there are a lot of fishes, but my cherries doesn't have such behavior.

It looks like something in water parameters is not o.k. but I'm wondering what exactly.

the cherry shrimps in 250 liter community tank (with small fishes and a lot of plants) prefer to be on water surface instead underwater.

My tank is 150l - so I'll start to add half teaspoon few days (3-4) and on next water change I'll use "pure" water.

Concerning overfeed - it is 100l tank with let say 100 shrimps. The tanks is well cycled with a lot of Java Moss. Strange is that I never see small shrimps ...

Hello all,

I have some fishes (Poecilia) in one of main tanks and they are ill :-( The problem seems to be Fin Rot. I need to add salt in this aquarium, but I'm not sure if my cherries will survive this :-(

I'll try to make a pictures of these shrimps.

Now I'm able to compare this blue shrimp with cherries - they looks in same wea, just the new shrimps are blue. Difference between my shripms and the shrim on the photo is that my shripms don't have darker areas on the top.

For now I don't have a pic (the shrimps arrived in the shop today).
