Hi! Yes, I had 3 males and 3 females.

I only perform 10% water change every 3 days or so. Water perimeters seems to be at its usual.

Now I'm keeping a close watch as I have a CRS and a Tiger berried as well.

Hi! Just noticed my 2 Long Nose with berries are no longer berried! I could'nt find any small hatchlings in my tank! :( Wondering if they had an abortion. Understand there's a need for brackish water to maintain the hatchlings, right? Is this before they hatch or while they are berried?

Congratulations! You are very lucky to have berried CRS just within 2weeks. Just noticed my CRS (1), Long Nose (2) and Tiger (1) are berried too. :D But only after setting up my new tank for about 3 months! Must be the mating season as coincidentally all species was berried at the same time (except ...

Wow! This is indeed an eye opener. I've been keeping an eye on my shrimps for this special moment. Unfortunately, I'm always not there when it happens! :( It's like missing your baby's delivery into this world!

[quote="Neonshrimp"]Hi francis,

Thanks. Yes, I have both males and females in my tank. Some are matured females. Guess will need to have some more patience and keep envying all the other members! :wink:

hi, in my experience they are slightly more sensitive than RCS. Despite being technically the same species, perhaps that particular color strain is a little more susceptible to adverse conditions for whatever reason. I say that because I've had RCS breeding merrily for over a year. Yet this summer ...

[quote="Neonshrimp"]Hi Shrimp&Snails, Thanks for the update. It's hard to believe that a rcs population could die out, but if there are no males I guess there are not babies :? Hi! Wondering how often RCS breed? Heard from members that it's difficult controlling the population. However...

Is this home prepared or off the shelf?

Wonder if there's any genetic defect later on by feeding shrimps to shrimps? :shock:
