Re: WOOO so many RCS babies!
Is there a turtle in that same tank? If so, they are VERY messy and I personally wouldn't keep them with fish or shrimp because they'll be eaten if they're not killed by polluted water first. Shrimp/plants/guppies have their own tank. I pump water from the turtle tank to the shrimp/plants/guppies. ...

WOOO so many RCS babies!
It all started about a week ago, with no more than about 4 tiny RCS foraging around in the java moss... Now there are babies EVERYWHERE! I may have just doubled my RCS population! And still there are several heavily berried RCS Mamas hiding about. There seem to be 3 distinct sizes of RCS babies, so ...

I really like the contrast of the bright red RCS and the lush green plants.

Whats more to love?

Timelaps will not load for me either but BlueRock will. Great camera work but I spend enough time watching my shrimp eat to watch someone elses eat for 8min29sec  Ha, yeah, I guess so... ;) But when I'm not at home, it's great, I just need to get my live feed up and running, I'll call it "...

My RCS and Caridina Gracilirostris really go crazy when I throw in a rock from my turtle take that is covered in Black Beard Algae. It's non-stop eating! Here is a three hour time laps in 2 minutes: Timelaps And a few minutes of the party that they had today, with a cameo from a very berried Ghost: ...

My green shrimp keep(Cardina spp.) pretty well hidden in the top of the bushy plant, that is seen in the background of the below image most of the time. Whereas most all of my other shrimp are very active during the day. But active shrimp are happy shrimp? Is this not the case for the green shrimp? ...

Nice pictures, it looks like you have some survivers there. How many baby ghost shrimp are there? Glad you like the pictures! Well it's kinda hard to tell, large tank, lot's of places to hide. Two for sure, because of the size and coloration difference. The little guy has the typical orange bands o...

Spontaneous ghost shirmp!
About a month ago I moved all my LFS feeder ghost shrimp from my planted tank to the turtle tank after I lost a couple of RCS and Amano shrimps. In hindsight this may have been a bit of an over reaction, and I'm thinking of moving the surviving ghosts back as one of them is heavy berried. No worries...
