Re: Metabetaeus lohena - only old topic
Hi - Mustafa - You write "anyone who wants to breed Metabetaeus lohena should attempt to breed Caridina japonica (amano shrimp) first"
How is it that you compare M. lohena and Amano shrimp, the larvae of M. lohena then go in freshwater?

Re: Metabetaeus lohena - only old topic
Harry i remove the larvae. I find it amazing that sea creatures are so difficult for us to breed successfully but there are seemingly uncounted hoards breeding in nature. Look at the Amano shrimp. People breed it but with difficulty. Have you ever heard of someone breeding hermit crabs? Or glass sh...

Filter type i OpeaUla tank
Hi
I am in doubt about which filter which will be the best in my aquarium with UpeaUla shrimps. I have read that the foam filters is not good.
What type of filter is the best that will not harm the shrimps or their larvae?
Attached picture show the filter I use ?

Thanks for your reply. I've had them for 1 month, but I have not seen some dead. If there is a dead shrimp will lie between all my lava. How should the Ph-Kh and Gh be and must be something in the Aquarium to add more lime in the water? Nitrit = "0" Ph = "8.2" What about the ligh...
