Bumble Bees on AB
Does anyone have any experiance with Tropical Fish Distributors? They have some bumble bees up for bid on AquaBid. My search comes up empty for their name.
It appears their shrimp are in holding tanks. I want some BB's, but only from someplace with a good reputation.
Thank's,
Cinthia

Re: ID help needed
Hmm, I’m beginning to think the “Chocolate” shrimp I purchased in April are also wild Neocaridina heteropoda. They are all rather plain, being mainly translucent with some slight colour. Had the seller posted photos, I probably would not have purchased them. Oh well, I find myself watching them just...

Sorry for the milky out of focus photos. These shrimp are in an acrylic tank with poor clarity. These were sold on E-Bay as "Chocolate" shrimp. I'm thinking they are a wild form of cherry shrimp. Any ideas as to their real identification will be appriciated.
Thank's,
Cinthia

Re: HELP : Cherry shrimps darting around
Are you sure you dechlorinated the water correctly? Some conditioners have two differant dosages. One for chlorine and heavy metals (API brand: 3 drops per gallon) and another for chloramine (API brand: 6 drops per gallon). Chloramine has to go too! Use the maximum dose go get rid of all chemicals. ...

Homemade aquarium
I am thinking of building a small aquarium to fit a particular space. I am wondering what is the best sealant to use. Has anyone here built thier own tanks? I didn't find much of anything on either homemade aquariums or sealants in my search. The dimensions I am looking to use are 26.5"long, 11...

Crown Mosura CRS, Flower Head CRS???
I have seen CRS being sold on AquaBid as Crown Mosura and as Flower Head CRS. What is the differance between these and regular CRS? Is there a change in their physical structrue?
Thank you,
Cinthia

Re: Tiny thread like worms & swimming specks
Thank you all for replying. I have cut back on the feeding. There are several oak leaves and plenty of culture on the sponge filter. I also have a large piece of cholla wood in the tank. The love the cholla! I have both of those too. Glad to hear the specks are paramecium. The worms are planaria. Not...

Tiny thread like worms & swimming specks
:smt118 My shrimp tank has exploded with tinny, clear, quarter inch worms and some sort of zippy swimming white specks. The worms mostly float in the water, like lint in a beam of sunlight. I also see them crawling along the glass sides of the tank. It's like a snow storm in there. I don't see anyth...

Re: multi-colored CRS eggs
A true breeding strain of RCS should have Yellow eggs. I have never seen White Eggs that have hatched. If you have this many different colored eggs, I would have to say that your RCS are not a true breeding RCS. They may have been house with another Neocaridina species. John Hi, New here, first pos...
