how is your tank set up? if u have java moss and/or riccia in there, the baby ghost shrimp should be able to forage for food on their own. with enuff lighting and good water conditions, micro algae should form on the surfaces of your tank and any decorations, plants, etc. this should be a good sourc...

Avoid anubias and cryptocorynes as thet might be deadly to shrimp. Their juices contain oxalate. This still is not confirmed info, but it is better to be on the safe side. i've read this a lot, but i don't know if there's any truth to it. i have a crypt spiralis in my tank that has been sending out...

nice tank! i esp like the piece of root-looking driftwood in the center. is it real or fabricated? i'd like to find something like that for my tank. it would add a lot of character, make it more interesting. btw, what kind of mesh are u using for the moss you have on the bottom. it looks metallic an...

consider buying a small grow out tank (5-10 gallons), put in a sponge filter, and some plants. u don't even need gravel necessarily. i personally think the breeding net will work fine, but that's just me.

this was a deal, that me and a few others have chipped in to get. it was my idea and they paid me for shrimps. i can't just keep their money, i need to give them shrimps. and if i don't, i would have lost a lot of money. taking the chance to get more when he agrees to my shipping conditions will sa...

imo, activated carbon isn't needed, but adding it won't be detrimental to the shrimp. i run only an air-driven sponge filter and have had no hiccups. it's up to u.

i had considered bidding on aquabid myself, but for the same reasons, i dared not bid on them since they were coming from far away... not to mention that he never provides pictures, so u re not really sure what u're getting. i don't doubt that they're the specimens as advertised, but i still like pi...

100 cherry reds in a 90G tank isn't a lot (at least it doesn't seem like it), but i'd add in some cycled water to ease the transition. shrimp are extremely sensitive to ammonia. the plants will provide a natural source of food (micro algae mostly), but it probably wont' be sufficient to supply all 1...
