Thanks for that. I've found a picture of a chameleon shrimp here http://www.fish2u.com/chamshrim.html which looks exactly like mine. I guess I'll have to get rid of them as I've got a shoal of cardinal tetras in the tank which I don't want to lose. :(

I think the best match I've found is the red-claw shrimp as the colouring seems to have changed a bit now they've been in for a bit longer. incidentally, I think they look identical to the first shrimp in rclover's earlier post.

Just been back to the LFS to check and they were labelled 'indian painted shrimp' but google doesn't find any matches for that.

Thanks for that. They were labelled as 'Indian' something but I haven't found a picture of any shrimp yet that has the obvious band across them like these do.

ID Needed Please

Hi there, first time using this forum which has been recommended to me as the best place to get my new shrimp ID'd..
