GunmetalBlue: The temperature is between 23-26 degrees celcius. Just after i bought the shrimps we had a couple of very warm weeks. The temperature rised to 27-28 degrees celcius. The shrimps didn't seem to like that, and i lost half of them. I can't give the water-parameters, because i haven't meas...

Well my Bumblebees are doing fine.
Yesterday three of the shrimps were svimming round and round and round all day. In the same way my Amanos and RCS males do the day before mating.
This morning I discovered a empty shell and a female with eggs :)

Please let us know, what the problem was :)
I have 7 bumblebees left, and I like to keep them alive - and hopefully breed them.

Thank you for the kind words :) The shrimps produce shrimplets. Mine were bred here in Denmark, by a guy who bought the parents in Hamburg, Germany. I have 11 in a tank with width: 60 x depth 60 centimeters and the waterlevel is 20 centimeters. There's a lot of stones, wood (roots) and plants both i...

I'll take a closer look on my formosa, and see if they should be removed from the tank.

Very nice pictures.
I can confirm, that they are hard to keep alive.
Three weeks ago i bought 14 bumblebees. So far six of them have died.
I hope i can keep the rest alive. It's a very cute shrimp.

It's a bad idea - if you like your shrimps. Recently i found this Dragon Fly larvae in my RCS breeding tank. http://www.aquabo.dk/img/aqua43-2/insektlarve_06250003.jpg For the next 14 days all the smallest of the babyshrimps dissapeared. After it developed into af grownup Dragon Fly, the small baby ...

I have a few males with a little red on them.
I have put them together with my superred females.
Hopefully i will get some males with more red on them.
