any powerhead shrimp safe?
i have a DIY hagen Co2 in my 10 gallon tank. Being economical, i made a co2 bell diffusor to catch the little ones that get out on the top. To increase diffusion rate, i'll need something to move the water inside. are there any powerheads that are harmless to baby shrimps?

Cherry red shrimps and its vibrant color
looking at my tank, I sometimes see shrimps that are almost colorless. Though I know they'll eventually get more red, it wouldn't be as red as those that are born red. How many vibrant red female or males do I have to introduce to the tank in order to slowly get rid of the clear looking shrimps? or ...

pH for cherrys and trumpet snails
currently i have a pH of 7.2 using baking soda to buffer the water.
For some reason, i find the cherrys to breed better in a higher pH. how bout you guys?
also, my trumpet snails' shell rots away at the end therefore destroying the perfect cone... what's happening?

i usually throw the food in one place and all the shrimps all gather to eat them. However, there were some shrimps on the other side that don't come over. Maybe you can feed it on one spot and sprinkle a little on the other side. Feed it where you're most likely to see them. Its interesting to watch...

the pleco and oto wouldn't be able to chase those tiny shrimps with their down sided mouths. any correction is welcome though. the shrimps won't get sucked through the pad, if anything the shrimps can make a living inside the filter heh, or u can check with a flashlight. Keep feeding them till they ...
