ok so here is my other question.....on multiple websites the RCS is coming up as 2 different species.....Neocaridina Heteropoda var red and Neocraidina Denticulata var red.......is this a mistake or are they the same? Also, if the RCS is Neocaridina Denticulata var red and the wild form of RCS ...

thank you for the great explaination on the Minami shrimp......ok so what exactly is caridina heterapoda then? My web search was finding red cherry shrimp and the wild cherry shrimp...so, I am confused

I am currently breeding both in separate tanks but I am noticing that these two species look very similar...I wonder if they are in fact the same species? There is not much info on these so called Minami shrimp online....anyone know?

I was just curious if anyone has these cool shrimp and if Mustafa id trying to breed them for some US release?

I am not sure where its from I got it from my LFS, and even the ones I bought vary slightly from each other. Soem are brillant and the colors are very intense and others and duller looking. They were listed as bee shrimp thats all. I assume they were the bumble bee shrimp but I wanted to make sure.

well, the blue color has faded or gone away completely. It was prob due to something in the water because they look like normal amano shrimp now.

just curious as to an asking price for the bumble bee shrimp. What are they normally selling for?

I stopped at one of my LFS today to see that soem of his amano shrimps had a blue tint to them. Anyone ever hear of this. I know the guy selling them very well and he keeps them really healthy and never medicates them with anything. They have been in the tank for 3 weeks and some are just blueish ...
