Re: Snail Shells Appearing
Thank you very much for explaining that to me. I believe maybe 3 or 4 are left, and the shrimp are fine, I'm thankful!! I hope this doesn't happen again. Thank you again!!

Re: Snail Shells Appearing
Well 2 baby snails and one adult snail have emerged!!! I'm happy to report. I'm still sad about the others, but thankful to have these 3. Still not sure what happened to the others.

Re: Snail Shells Appearing
I think all of my snails have now died. :'( The shrimp are fine, thankfully! I am just very upset that my snails have died though, I really don't know why. I enjoyed watching them. They even had a few babies while I had them. I'm so sad.

Re: Snail Shells Appearing
Well, I do realize that... but can you tell me what to do, or try, or look for? There are several, and it seems to just all of a sudden happen. Thank you for your time!

Snail Shells Appearing
I am noticing a few empty snail shells and nothing in my tank has changed. I have a small, half gallon, simple tank with gravel and macro algae, shrimp and snails. I've had it est since Feb. Does anyone have any idea what is going on? Thank you!

Tooth, I'm very glad you found your problem and fixed it! :) MelWong, thank you for your input as well! I appreciate both of you taking the time to answer. I agree that there is a possibility of Ammonia in the bottom. I can try siphoning it out, the tank is just so very small that I do not want to s...

Re: The New Supershrimp Owner Experience. (Long post!)
MelWong: Thank you for your informative posts! Great ideas and beautiful tank! Yoster: Do you have your tank near the sunlight? Could be causing a burst of green algea? Mastafa would probably be a better person to say for sure, but that was my first thought. I enjoy reading and seeing pictures of th...

Milky Grey/White Substance in Gravel
Hi Everyone, I am fairly new to shrimp and brackish water, but I started my very small tank in February around Valentine's Day. Everyone has been doing well, I have the Opae and Brackish Snails in my tank with some MarcroAlgae. My shrimp have been molting and I have 2 baby snails born since they wer...
